Rappin' Duke

For those of you who also check out my myspace page, you know I have been quickly moving into Big Friends Weekend mode.

Just thought I'd toss this up here, since I know some readers are Blue Devils fans.

I was in the downstairs of my parents house with Ankrom, I was standing between the love seat and coffee table.

Where were you?

I think that was 1992. I was at my mom's house, watching the game with my buddy Al Riesterer. I was never a big Laettner fan, but he had something like 30 points and was perfect from the floor and at the line that night. Incredible performance.

The NCAA tournament will be hard to watch this year ... working from home like I do. Wait, working from home will be hard to do ... with the NCAA tournament on.

Is Al Riester a descendant of Al Reisterer?

I also remember a lot of Kentucky players with pad Jr. High Mustaches.

Hold on...you are a big Duke fan, and you didn't like Laettner?

What did I tell you about promoting Duke in this blog, do I have to hurt you? Come Sunday you better show some UNC love.

Celeste, I liked Dean Smith and I like their colors, since they're St. John colors. Other than that their initials should be changed to F UNC!
Especially this year when they may stand in the way of an OSU championship.

Here we go Devils Here we GO * *

I had to grow into being a Laettner fan. When he first garnered national recognition, he was a whining pretty boy with a game. He grew into his role as team leader and left Duke as one of the best college players in the history of the game. He's even got a gold medal as part of the original Dream Team.

who was the other college player on that team?
