Love Me Two Times

During a text message conversation Jerry and I started naming off Major League Baseball players that wore an Indians' uniform more than once in their career.

Here is a list of who we came up with:

1. Brook "Jake" Jacoby
2. Hard Hittin' Mark Whitten
3. Who Who Julio Franco
4. Carlos "1 if by land, 2 if by sea, 3 if" Baerga
5. Candy Maldonado
6. Reggie Jefferson
7. Kenny "90 Feet" Lofton
8. John Farrell
9. Bud Black
10. Tim "The Lake Show" Laker
11. Juan "As in going going" Gonzales (okay the second stint only saw him get 45 feet down the baseline.

I want to say both Russell Branyon and Junior Ortiz returned to the tribe, but never made the big league team the second time. At least I can't find stats to prove it.

Feel free to add to the list while I go get the papers, get the papers

One off the top of my head is Einar Diaz. He came back a couple years ago but didn't make the big league squad. I think he's in Pittsburgh now.

Eddie Murray wore the uniform twice. Does it count that Julio Franco wore a Spiders uniform the first time around?

Rocky Colavito and Doug Jones; Bob Feller wore it twice but he was interrupted by WWII.

Rob you are right, that's who i meant not Junior Ortiz.

Josh, I think he played for Forest City in 1860, that makes it 3 times.

Nice Kov, I never knew that at the end of his career he got to say, "Finally, the Rock has come back to Cleveland!"

Let's not forget Rocky Colavito. Broke our hearts when the Tribe traded him.

Don't forget Roger Dorn, maybe the most successful of Spunce's original list.

I knew you'd come through strong but I can't believe you don't know about your favorite Indian, Jacoby left played with the A's then returned.

And you left out the biggest has been in Indians history, Keith Hernandez.
