I just want to go on record as saying that I was totally wrong about the Indians. I now believe that they are the definite favorite to win the World Series. I didn't believe that they were a good team most of the year and didn't agree with most of their moves or the way Wedge managed but now I am a believer. Keys to the season: 1) Emergence of Fausto Carmona as a #1b starter; 2) the callup and play of Asdrubal Cabrera; 3) the acquisition, play and leadership (I can't believe I said that) of Kenny Lofton; 4) solid bullpen play. Having said all that, I still can't get overly excited about them.

The correct term is 1A

Too late Ray, get off the bandwagon before you jinx the whole thing!

If you can't get excited about this team and how thy play, you don't appreciate or like baseball.

I stand corrected on 1A and I said I can't get overly excited, excited yes, but not excessively. I don't know, maybe at this point in my life I don't appreciate or like baseball anymore - the 2005 choke really got me. One more thing, while they're continuing to play hard and gain momentum, the Rockies are sitting home cooling off - Tribe in six in the World Series.
